We are a 501(c)(3) non profit organization
From June 1 to August 31,start logging you miles as you walk, run, hike or bike for the next two months! We challenge you to go your best distance. Beginners, aim for 50 miles.
Seasoned athletes, can you make it 100 or 150 miles?
Cyclists, can you spin those wheels fast enough to cover 200 miles?
If you are not normally active, but would like to use this challenge to start, OR if you have a medical condition to keep you from too much activity,
Set your best distance. Make it safe and challenging enough to keep you motivated to move, but not so far that it's discouraging.
(PLEASE GET YOUR DOCTOR'S PERMISSION BEFORE ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES IF YOU HAVE ANY HEALTH CONDITION THAT MAY BE MADE WORSE BY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY!!)
If you would like to participate in this challenge, fill out the form and you will receive an email with an official log sheet for you to keep track of your activity. Keep track of your miles and then email the log sheet back as soon as you are done!
Prizes for the first person to finish in each category.
Categories are as follows:
Walk/Hike/run 50 miles
Walk/Hike/Run 100 miles
Cycle/Run/Hike/Walk 150 miles
Cycle/Run/Hike/Walk 200 miles
I set a goal of 500 miles as a team... Can we get there together????
You can mix activities to reach your goal! If you add a small amount of cycling into your activity, choose 100 or 150 miles. If most of your miles are covered on wheels, please choose the 150 or 200 miles.
